I was a little nervous about buying these dvd's for one reason, mainly its intensity.I also had price considerations which were primarily because I was worried that the p90x would be too intensive for me and I wouldn't use it. Since I am just getting back in to working out to lose some extra weight (about 40 pounds) I was worried that I wouldn't be able to keep up with the instructors. To tell you the truth after I started I could barely keep up, but I was highly motivated and just rested more often or did not complete all of the reps while starting out. What I really like about the p90x program is the workouts are designed to work a different body part daily. So you get what they call muscle confusion which provides exercises so your body never plateaus. The mastermind behind the system is named Tony Horton and is a professional trainer who I find pretty effective at keeping me motivated with enough energy and enthusiasm to help keep me going through the workouts.I've found that motivation is the key to sticking with the p90x system. If you want it bad enough your find that these dvd's can help you achieve results that you want. The key is to stick with it and not give up. My goal when I started was to lose weight and build up healthy muscle tone which I'd say the program does well.I've dropped several pounds which I'm pretty sure would be more, but I get a feeling that much of my fat is turning into muscle as I go along. One thing is for sure this program will increase your flexibility and to my surprise has even relieved an old back pain. The main thing is I'm looking firmer and feeling more energetic, so I'm a believer in p90x!

My P90x workout review

I’ve been working out using he p90x dvd videos for the past four weeks and can say I’m impressed with the results.
