My child received this item for Christmas this year (2009) He was on the toy for the first time ever for about 30 seconds when the front mount of the tires colapsed and my child went face first into the concrete. He has some pretty bad injuries. His face is torn up majorly. We took the board back to the store where it was purchased and got a full refund and we also filed an incident report at the store to be sent to the manufacturer. If you have one of these boards please be very careful. A helmet didn’t help any because all the damage was done to the face.

I was a little apprehensive about buying the Fuzion Land Shark for my 12 year old daughter this Christmas. I can vividly remember the time when I was her age and used my skateboard as a kneeboard, hit a small pebble, and rammed my chin into the ground. Nevertheless this is what she wanted so I bought one for her.

After opening the Landshark she immediately began zipping down the street and making tight turns on the sidewalk and street. So far she has only received one small gash on her knee, and is happy with it overall. Only time will tell just how dangerous this kneeboard is. When asked about what she thinks about it she says, “I just think it’s cool!”

I would have put zero but did not have that option.. Sorry we are little late guess the kids in our area just got these things for easter. We have three girls who have the shark. Lets say they have had them two days one of my daughters face looks like someone beat her with a baseball bat, my other daughter has a few scratches on her face, and has scratches all down her arm, and leg same with third daughter. IN TWO DAYS this has happen, and boy across from us also got one for Easter he has lost his from tooth, and had to have it put back in his mouth along with looking like my first daughter he had more injuries . The girl next to him also hit face forward. We are talking five children in a culdasack who have all been injured with in two days. I say these are very dangerous and should not be given to any child. I am about to write the company. I got rid of them, and took the kids to get new toys, ( was hard to explain since the Easter bunny brought these ) Just want to look out for other little kids who might want these. If I could post pictures it would show you how bad they look. Wish you all luck !!

My son had a Land SHark for XMAS and about a week ago the rear wheel fell off and bent the frame, My wife took it back to exchange it and got another one. On Easter, 4-4-2010, we let him ride the land shark and the front wheel collapsed under him, sending his face to the pavement. In turn he hit the pavement and scrapped his face and hands, it in turn made him loose one of his permanent teeth in the upper section of his mouth. We had to clean up his blood all over him and we went out to the pavement to find his tooth. We found his tooth and immediately put it in milk, we called a dentist and he met us within the hour to put the tooth back in. The Dentist got the tooth back in and we hope it will hold when the splint is removed. My son may have to have a root canal done and it is a long process for him.

I got two fuzion landshark kneeboard skateboards for my boys and they absolutely love it. It has quickly become the favorite toy in the house and to my surprise has got them leaving the playstation and actually wanting to play outside. This in itself is a big thumbs up for me! I read some of the negative reviews before I bought the fuzion landshark and from what I read was a little worried about the safety of these toys. To my surprise there has been no major problems with the safety of these boards. There has been a couple bumps and bruises which is completely normal for boys playing with skateboards. One thing I did do before sending my boys off to play with the landshark is to tell them to watch out for running over small rocks. I’m going to recommend this toy for older children as mine love it!

My son received the Land Shark for Christmas and in the first 2 min of riding it, he tumbled face forward and scraped up his face when he applied the brakes. Not sure why the brakes are in the front and not the back?? He won’t get on it again!! I wish that I would have read the ratings before I purchased this item. I will NOT recommend this product to anyone!!

My wife and I purchased the Fuzion Land Shark for our 10 yr. old grandson for his birthday in February. He loved going down the incline of our driveway on it and then kicking his way back up to the top. Today he came to me and said the toy was broken. The front wheel and steering assembly completely caved in which could have caused a major accident, fortunately it did not. I’m calling the company to see if I can repair it and if not, I will return it to the store and hopefully get a refund. I will also file an accident claim with the manager. I think the toy is dangerous if it fails within one month.

My ten year old son got a land shark for Christmas. Worst present ever… He has probably been on every scooter made. He has a motorcycle and lots of other ride on toys. Never have I seen an injury to a Childs face and teeth so bad from a ride on toy. After hours in the emergency room doing a cat scan X-rays and having an oral surgeon called in. We left no broken bones but injury is so bad we don’t know the outcome. Can’t open his mouth to eat I have to chop his food up in a blender needless to say the amount of pain he is in is absolutely horrible. Take these off the market. Would not recommend to anyone..
