It is effective for attracting bugs in a wide area around my house. My only complaint is the device only seems to work at night when bugs are attracted to its light. Otherwise this bug zapper does what it says and helps rid my property of many flying insects that drive my wife crazy.Another plus about this zapper is it makes great entertainment too. There's something very satisfying about hearing the shock of a bug landing on the grid and watching them fall from the bottom of this thing.
