Motion all-metals function is a general multi-purpose mode that responds to the widest variety of metal objects. 3. tone discrimination lets you know when you sweep over different types of metals by signaling with one or two audio pitches. Many Bounty Hunter metal detectors have an LCD display screen, instead the Tracker IV comes equipped with a sensitivity Meter. The sensitivity Ground Trac will automatically adjust the device to the soil conditions in your area. The Tracker IV comes with a a five-year limited warranty.

The metal detector runs off of two 9-volt alkaline batteries. To get better battery life out of the unit it’s a good idea to invest in some headphones as it will help prolong the operating time you experience.
